Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Comprehenzo, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
Description of service
Comprehenzo is a language learning application that provides AI-generated listening comprehension exercises in Spanish and French. The service includes audio content, comprehension questions, progress tracking, and spaced repetition features.
Account registration
To use Comprehenzo, you must create an account using a valid email address or a Google account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activity that occurs under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Comprehenzo only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to:
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its systems
- Use automated tools to access, scrape, or interact with the service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
- Reproduce, distribute, or sell any content generated by the service
- Use the service to transmit any harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to the service
AI-generated content
Comprehenzo uses artificial intelligence to generate audio transcripts, comprehension questions, and vocabulary content. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors, inconsistencies, or inaccuracies. Comprehenzo is not a substitute for professional language instruction, and we make no guarantees about the accuracy of AI-generated content.
Audio content is generated using third-party text-to-speech services and represents synthesized speech, not recordings of real people.
Intellectual property
The Comprehenzo application, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by InteractDev and protected by intellectual property laws. The AI-generated content produced during your use of the service is provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.
You retain ownership of any personal data you provide to the service. By using Comprehenzo, you grant us a limited license to use that data to provide and improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Service availability
We strive to keep Comprehenzo available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service. We may:
- Perform maintenance that temporarily makes the service unavailable
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the service
- Impose limits on certain features or restrict access in our discretion
We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.
Disclaimer of warranties
Comprehenzo is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Your use of the service is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, InteractDev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Comprehenzo, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@comprehenzo.com.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page or through in-app notification. Continued use of Comprehenzo after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
